I have been making sgian dubhs, dirks and Scottish jewellery for longer than I care to mention. My work is entirely handmade, with the exception of certain parts which I have specially cast to my specification, and I am a slave to the accuracy of those noble Scottish craftsmen of the past whose quality I mirror in every piece I create. My work is differential in every aspect from that of other craftsmen, and everything is designed and made completely in Scotland's magnificent capital city of Edinburgh.
The market today is flooded with artificial imported goods thanks to increasing globalisation. One cannot walk down the High Street of any Scottish town without observing this effect in every shop. Even the internet is saturated with cheap, low quality imitation products so I take pride in my work and all materials used are the best available. My specialty is the 17th & 18th centuries, when items made were not only beautiful in their own right, but were also functional.
