"The Culloden"
This Sgian is made from silver and has been Hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office with the Artist's sponsor mark NCM.
The wood is hard rosewood which has been finely hand carved with celtic knotwork. The scabbard has been covered with the finest black leather; the blade stainless steel. The top of the pommel has a four claw setting with a Genuine ha'penny from the year 1746: the year of Culloden.
This coin is in fine condition and was no-doubt handled by Hanovarians and Jacobites alike. Silver heart on front and Silver lozenge on back which is found on weaponry of the 17th & 18th century. A true original collector's Sgian dubh with a direct connection to the 18th century.
The price for this one-off piece is £700.
